AT is teaming up with Colorado Kayak Supply this year to make the 2011 CKS Paddlefest the best one yet. CKS Paddlefest is the kickoff party for the start of the summer paddling season. Join us for an action-packed weekend of fun and educational activities for paddlers of all ages and abilities. Kayakers from beginners to aspiring competitors can rub elbows with paddling manufacturers, top athletes, and other industry pros during a weekend chock full of education, competitions, demo days, entertainment, gear shopping and camaraderie.
Join a pro kayaker for a freestyle clinic, take a guided tour on the river, and participate in a ‘how to' clinic, show off your skills in the river park, try out new boats or just relax and watch live music and videos.

3-8pm- B.V. Pro Kayak Comp. Qualifying Rounds- Buena Vista River Park in South Main. Come watch the the world’s best freestyle kayakers compete in the state’s most dynamic river feature for a chance at the finals on Saturday evening.
4-9pm- Eddyline and Ska Brewing present Happy Hour at the South Main Square. Beer, food and music and vendors at the South Main Square during the BV Pro Kayaking Competition. An all ages event.
8-9pm- River Flicks Movie Premier at the State Highway Building. Steve Fisher’s Halo Effect on the largest HD screen in the area.
9pm-12am- Live Music at the River Rendezvous State Highway Building. Bring out your dancing shoes and polyester with DJ duet Panda Go Boom.

9am-7pm- CKS Storewide Sale at E. Main St Retail Location. The nation’s best brands combined with the industry’s top representatives to answer all of your questions. This is the one time of year customers can work directly with manufacturers while picking out their gear, boats and boards.
9am-5pm- Used Gear Swap at CKS Got used paddling stuff to sell? Want to buy some used gear and boats? This is Colorado’s largest used paddling Swap open to the public. CKS on E Main St.
9am-5pm- On Water Educational Courses and Pool Sessions with RMOC. Learn all facets of kayaking from the best instructors in the world at PaddleFest. From first time paddling classes to advanced techniques, Paddle Fest offers it all to you.
10am- SikMik Pump Track Competition- BV Pump Track at the end of E Main St. An all ages and all ability race and agility contest at the BV Pump Track (A skate park for mountain bikers).
10am-3pm- BV Open Kayak Preliminary Rounds-Buena Vista River Park in South Main Want to show the world what you got? This amateur freestyle kayak event will let you prove your skills in style.
11am-3pm- The Colorado Vacation Rentals presents the Whitewater Kayaking Demo Center-Buena Vista River Park in South Main Come test the new 2011 whitewater kayaks and learn about boat design from the world’s best manufacturers at the Buena Vista River Park.
11am-4pm- BoardWorks presents the SUP and Flatwater Kayaking Demo Center-At the Buena Vista Town Pond at McPhelemy Park. Come learn some basic skills and try out the best in Flat-Water Kayaking, Kayak Fishing, SUP, and Inflatable technologies.
10am-4pm- Combo Clinics at McPhelemy Park. Intro classes and flat water paddling clinics for Stand Up Paddling (SUP), Kayak Fitness, Lake Kayaking and Kayak Fising on the BoardWorks Pond at McPhelemy Park.
1-4pm- Keynote Speakers- Dry land presentations and education for those not wanting to get wet. State Highway Building, E Main St.
4pm-8pm- BV Pro Kayaking Finals- Buena Vista River Park in South Main. Watch the best in the world battle it out for the BV Pro Kayaking Title. A must see event full of excitement and thrills.

2.30-4pm- SUP High Jump Competition at the Boardworks SUP Pond in McPhelemy Park. I say jump you say how high? A fun high jump contest on paddle boards (SUP) for all ages and abilities.
4.30-6pm- Buoy Bonanza- Fun kayak and SUP race around buoys at the BoardWorks SUP Pond in McPhelemy Park. Bring your talent and your friends to compete for prizes. A family friendly and all ages all abilities event.
5pm- BV Pro Raft Race -Buena Vista River Park- The Rocky Mountain Whitewater Series makes a stop at Paddle Fest 2011 where raft racers give it their all in a sprint style race through the River Park ending at South Main.
