    Perhaps A New Best Friend

Not only is blue my favorite color, but AT’s newest addition to the F-Core paddle series: the Eddy Flexi, is an excellent paddle choice not just for the design, but also for performance.

Can you Spot the Eddy Flexi blade? The carbon fiber shaft gave me power and crisp responsiveness when punching holes and catching eddys. At 40 ounces, I was able to paddle for longer periods of time without tiring. My second run on the Ocoee wasn’t bad considering I played in every hole/wave possible. Not to mention the gentle flex was less stressful on my wrists, elbows, and shoulders.

This particular paddle also has a foam core which allows the blade to be buoyant. Which means the blade will feel neutrally-buoyant when underwater, contributing even more to the light feel of the paddle, and helping it to "float" out of the water when setting up to roll. And boy, did I do a lot of rolling that day.

Carbon fiber paddles may cost more, but if weight is a concern when paddling long hours or multi-day trips it's totally worth the buy . All-in-all, the Eddy Flexi is a must have if you are looking for a little flex and light weight when kayaking. Try it out for yourself!
